We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Supply Chain sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Operations Manager to join a leading Automotive manufacturer based in Epsom, Surrey. Ideally, you will have a background in Automotive and will lead the transformation of the supply function to 'best in industry’ standard. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with the Product Team to align product launches with start of production and initial order pack. You will be responsible for management of overall dealer supply chain - systems and administration, drive improvement of stock flow, ensuring efficient management of stock matching car to customer and reduce dwell times and aged stock. You will be the point of escalation and coordination for resolution of any supply related issues raised internally or by dealers.

Hybrid working - 3 days per week office based, 2 days per week at home

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, Company Car, and Private Medical Insurance

Supply Operations Manager’s Core Duties

  • Manage the weekly dealer communications advising of percentage ordering mix by model and version and updates as to current backorders and production constraints
  • Support monitoring of sales campaign strategies in relation to achieving wholesale targets and advise of recommendations to continually improve
  • Support Volume & Supply planning Manager run the monthly production order meetings
  • Support and work alongside Product team to ensure effective vehicle run out and new vehicle launch
  • Work with all internal stakeholders, to ensure overall business requirements are met
  • Provide business insight and reporting on all key areas of supply (stocking, lead times, etc)
  • Liaise with sales team to manage CO2 reporting at a dealer and national level
  • Forecast 5-month factory plan by model, trim and powertrain (DP0) and submit to factory
  • Management of wider supply team to ensure dealer queries are responded to and actioned within agreed SLA’s
  • Ensure products are set up correctly in UK distribution systems, working with Product, Supply and IT to optimise current processes
