We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the IT Support sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Software and Applications Support Analyst to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support for business critical software and applications and provide support to employees, clients, and customers within agreed SLAs.

£30,000 - £35,000 + Hybrid (5 days in the office out of 10) + Great Benefits

Software and Applications Support Analyst’s Core Duties

  • Ensure performance targets against agreed SLAs are achieved
  • Monitor, prioritise and escalate incidents as required to meet SLAs
  • Assist and advise the UK business on implementation of new solutions
  • Engage with internal departments, clients and service providers to identify business requirements and produce specification documentation
  • Manage the development process (including engaging with developers, user acceptance testing, communications, release and support) for internally developed solutions
  • Provide Software and Application related statistics and reporting
  • Assist with business projects as required
  • Manage suppliers and contractors
  • Build long term strategic relationships to facilitate and deliver desired business outcomes
  • Assist Business Development with software and application solutions and opportunities

Software and Applications Support Analyst’s Key Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in applications support and management
  • Educated to GCSE level grade A-C
  • Broad knowledge of computer and mobile applications
  • Broad knowledge of web technologies
  • Experience of management of revenue generating portals (desirable)
  • In depth understanding of service management framework principles and processes, and the ability to apply the technical knowledge in project and programme activities
  • Full UK Driving License is essential - occasional travel to other UK sites
  • High standard of oral and written English
