We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Office Support sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to monitor and ensure all company security protocols are maintained for the safety of the external visitors and colleagues.

Receptionist’s Core Duties

  • To take calls and ensure that they are directed to the correct department/person
  • To ensure all visitors sign in and out, ensuring they are looked after during their time in the office
  • To ensure that any visitors are directed to the correct department, and shown to their appointment
  • To manage the calendar and presentation of the reception
  • To arrange refreshments for meetings as required, this includes any lunch requirements
  • To ensure that the meeting rooms are appropriately set for the correct meetings
  • To collate, organise and process all incoming and outgoing post
  • To maintain a correct stock of stationery and office supplies within budget
  • To act as the main point of contact for colleagues who are unable to attend work due to sickness, and log sickness in PeopleHR, notifying relevant manager accordingly
  • To act as fire safety officer and establish and manage a first aid system in the workplace
  • To take responsibility of the accident reporting book and liaise with the Account Managers regarding H&S and building facilities
  • To book flights, hotels and taxis for Managers when required
  • Support the Owner Relations team
  • Working on a rota system across the week (to include some weekends and Bank Holidays)
  • Dealing with lost property accordingly
  • Organising Parking Permits
  • Liaise with local councils and local residents to organise parking permits and allocated parking for guests where required

Receptionist’s Skills required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • Able to work as part of a team                 
  • Computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Previous Reception experience
  • Knowledge of local area
