We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Administrative sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Part-time Receptionist who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the reception and answering the company telephone in a pleasant and professional manner at all times, while still providing administrative and secretarial support to other departments within the business.

Hours:- 12:30 – 17:30. The salary is £11,700 per year (Little bit of flexibility).

Part-time Receptionist’s Core Duties

  • Answer telephone calls into the business
  • Deal with any telephone calls or queries including the ‘difficult’ ones
  • Update the site portal with any visitors and arrange a car park space if vital and available
  • Collect visitors from reception and bring up to offices
  • Ensure all visitors are signed in
  • Collect, scan and distribute the incoming post
  • Collate, envelope and frank outgoing post
  • Assist with secretarial duties
  • Update CRM as required
  • Collate all items for the site set-up pack, print off a selection of labels, print and laminate posters, insurances and health and safety and environmental Policies etc. Arrange a courier if it is unable to be picked up
  • Liaise with management and security
  • Offer refreshments to visitors
  • Book couriers
  • Book lunch for board meetings and courses
  • Requisition head office stationery
  • Maintain and update site pigeon holes

Part-time Receptionist’s Skills required

  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook 
  • Good typing skills
  • Good telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate well
