We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Real Estate sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Portfolio Manager / Property Manager to oversee up to 75 properties within the UK and to be in charge of operational value creation.

Hybrid - 2 days in the office and 3 days from the home - frequent travel in the UK

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + 30% Bonus

Portfolio Manager / Property Manager’s Core Duties

  • Value creation for the properties by stimulating operational excellence
  • Ensure the right implementation of company procedures and standards
  • Pro-actively cultivate the relationship between properties by advancing communication between operational teams and general managers through regular meetings
  • Ongoing coordination with property management reviewing performance of the property (renovation, capex), especially during monthly or quarterly meetings
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Legal, Technical Services, Finance, Asset Management) to implement strategy and create a shared understanding of the objectives
  • Ensure the proper fulfilment of the property management agreement within the portfolio
  • Approval of annual operating budget (turnover, GOP, IBNOIE, EBITDA)
  • Manage and coordinate performance assessments
  • Represent and observe the operator's performance
  • Reconcile the profiles and skills of the property management in cooperation with regional HR
  • Submit proposals for a portfolio management strategy and its implementation
  • Oversee the integration of newly acquired properties

Portfolio Manager / Property Manager’s Skills Required

  • Master/MBA in Hotel Management or Finance/ Real Estate/ Law
  • Experience within Technical Services, Legal, Finance or hotel operations
  • Operational hotel business know-how or know-how within hotel real estate beneficial
  • Fluent English (French, German or Dutch language skills beneficial)
  • Profound knowledge of general Corporate Finance basics (P&L, analytics, cashflow, etc.)
  • Ability to push projects and advance the collaboration between various stakeholders
  • Persuasiveness, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Living in London area or willing to move
