We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Automotive sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Pricing Analyst to provide in depth analysis and reporting of the of the operation function for a leading car manufacturer, including the overall management of the parts price book. The role holder will ensure active price setting and management at sell-out and retail pricing to maximise margin, turnover, competitiveness and dealer profitability.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Hybrid (3 days in office), Flexitime, Lunch Allowance, Car Lease Scheme + other Great Benefits
Parts Pricing Analyst’s Core Duties
- Maintenance of price files including parts segmentation and the implementation of pricing methodology in line with guidelines and targets
- Achievement of company targets of overall parts turnover and profit annually
- Balancing warranty parts turnover and profit against warranty costs
- Lifecycle management, including obsolescence, of parts based on vehicle age and product range
- Analysis of sales trends, market conditions, competitive pricing and identification of opportunities
- Production of both routine and ad-hoc reports relating to the function
- Daily communication to highlight issues and recommend resolutions
- Regular analysis of local aftersales programmes and providing recommendations to the programme manager to implement improvements
- Achievement of company targets of overall parts turnover and profit annually
Parts Pricing Analyst’s Skills Required
- Degree educated in a numerical, marketing or business specialisation
- Highly numerate, with advanced PC and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills; all levels from inception to completion
- Experience in a pricing or market analysis role in Automotive or Industrial products
- Commercially aware, with budget management and accountability understanding
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels of management, dealers, customers and partners
- Motivated, well organised, accurate, proactive, and a good team player
- Takes ownership and leads ideas and their development
