This is an excellent opportunity, and the successful candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency, reducing cost and maintaining relationships with high-quality suppliers.

Operations Manager’s (Procurement and Supply Chain) Core Duties

Project Coordination

  • Supporting project leaders to ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Creation of mobilisation plans across various energy projects.
  • Project orders and delivery tracking.

Customer Services

  • Manage and report on Warranty Service Levels
  • Define and maintain the Warranty budget.
  • Ensure all Warranty claims are assessed, communicated to the client, and authorised.
  • Ensure authorised claims are planned and managed through execution through network of install partners and suppliers.

Procurement and Supply Chain Management

  • Forecast needs and supply of products and services to enable to delivery of project milestones with on time in full delivery.
  • Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, as well as any legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers, monitoring and assessing performance and maintaining cost-effective practices.
  • Analysing supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place.
  • Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance.

Operations Manager’s (Procurement and Supply Chain) Skills Required

  • Risk management and contingency planning skills.

Operations Manager’s (Procurement and Supply Chain) Key Experience

  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management in project based delivery, such as facilities management, building services, construction.
  • Previous experience in the energy efficiency market.
  • Project Management experience and/or qualifications.
  • Proficiency using Oracle Netsuite / Salesforce / Microsoft Suite including MS Project.
