We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Events sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an Events Assistant who will support the Project Manager of Alumni in the development of the Alumni proposition and in the organisation of Alumni conferences and events for a leading UK membership body.

Office based - With work from Home Days per week

Initially on a 2 - 3 year fixed term contract with further extensions expected

Events Assistant’s Core Duties

  • Support the Project Manager of Alumni with day-to-day administration
  • Help to organise in person and virtual conferences and events
  • Manage the CRM system and ensure records are continually updated and maintained
  • Promote conferences and events on social media platforms including website
  • Collate conference and event feedback and identify key data
  • Support in the creation of targeted mailing lists
  • Assist with the production of all events and Alumni communications, including newsletters
  • Assist with identifying key conference trends
  • Attend, set-up and provide on the day support to all conferences and events

Events Assistant’s Skills Required

  • Highly organised, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Confident with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willing to work flexibly, working out of hours to support conferences and events
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have a understanding of Alumni programmes and networks
  • Reliable and punctual
