Driver

We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Logisticssector. We have an excellent opportunity for a tech savvy driver to join a leading technical rental company for the events and entertainment industries. The role will suit a van driver with a clean license who will have the opportunity to work with and learn about various technologies from servers, workstations, printers, copiers, projectors, video walls, PA systems, and smart phones.

£28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus - Some after hours, on-call, and weekend work with overtime

Driver / Junior Technician’s Core Duties

• Load and unload vans and delivery equipment
• Collect equipment from various locations and return them to the warehouse
• Be neat and tidy in appearance, to make an excellent first impression
• Impress clients and deal with them in a friendly professional manner
• Complete all required paperwork on time and report issues, collections, and deliveries
• Provide ongoing support in person and over the phone to team members
• Handle equipment carefully and assist with maintaining clean, well-presented equipment
• Assist in the warehouse as required

Driver / Junior Technician’s Key Skills

• A full clean UK driving licence
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to learn and develop a wide range of skills around all types of technology
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly adaptable to changing work requirements
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills
• Ability to deliver and install heavy equipment
• Ability to maintain a valid clean driver's license
• Evidence of qualifications and experience
