We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Customer Services sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Retention Executive with impeccable communications and salesmanship, who has experience of working in a retention/cancellations department for a large subscription services provider. The role will involve speaking to high value customers who have requested to cancel their ongoing services or whose services have expired, to attempt to get them to either not cancel or to renew their services. You will need a high attention to detail, and the ability to work unsupervised with focus for long periods of time.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm - Hybrid working split 50% in the office and 50% from home

Salary: £35,000 (OTE £45,000) with excellent benefits

Customer Retention Executive’s Core Duties

  • Take inbound and make outbound calls to customers who have requested to switch off the renewal of their services, with the aim of retaining them and renewing the services
  • Make outbound calls to companies whose high value services have expired, with the aim of getting these customers to remain and renewing these services
  • Collate and report customer feedback to the Customer Service Quality Manager, for the purpose of improving our customer service processes
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the successful fulfilment of team deadlines/targets

Customer Retention Executive’s Skills required

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a retention department of a large subscription-based company
  • Strong Microsoft Word/Excel experience
  • Experienced Salesmanship and excellent customer service skills
  • Impeccable verbal communication skills with strong powers of persuasion
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong work-ethic
  • Quick learner who can switch between tasks effortlessly
  • Very fast typing speed and strong computer skills in general
