We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Events sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conference Producer who will deliver 4-5 key events per year to help drive the growth portfolio of this national body. The role will work closely with the marketing and operations teams, as well as commercial partners, and will focus on virtual, hybrid, and in person events.

Salary up to £31,750 based on experience with hybrid working. Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Conference Producer’s Core Duties

  • Lead the production of up to 5 commercial conferences a year (hybrid, virtual and in person)
  • Research and develop leading-edge conference agendas in response to the needs of the audience and sponsors
  • Source, test, secure and brief high-calibre speakers
  • Assist the marketing team in identifying compelling messages and ensuring communications are accurate
  • Assist the sponsorship team in ensuring suitable sponsors are identified and targeted appropriately

Conference Producer’s Skills Required

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • High degree of competency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint desirable)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed writing, editing and proofreading skills in English
  • Conducting online, desk and face to face research
  • Expertise in recruiting and managing speakers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines

Conference Producer’s Key Experience

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a conference producer role
  • Proven research and conference development experience
  • Working independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience in producing virtual and hybrid events (desirable)
  • Social media knowledge (LinkedIn and Twitter) (desirable)
  • Production of promotional material, brochures, advert copy, website copy, eblasts and newsletters (desirable)
  • Managing multiple stakeholders (desirable)
  • Commercial acumen and ability to spot and exploit business opportunities
