We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Manager for a Fintech, recognised by as one of the top 10% of innovators globally, and a member of the London Stock Exchange Elite programme, which recognises UK companies with the fastest growth potential to scale globally

Salary: £50,0000 + performance related bonus OTE £80,000

Business Development Manager’s Core Duties

  • Winning New Business and sustaining good relationships with existing clients
  • Communicating the proposition to a target list of corporates, which are over £500m turnover p.a.
  • Engaging through follow-up calls and building relationships with the target corporates and their decision makers
  • Scheduling prospect meetings
  • Researching potential corporate clients and presenting the proposition both face to face and over web conference
  • Authoring proposals
  • Monitoring market and business news for relevant stories in the client and prospect sectors.
  • Reporting and recording the daily activity on their CRM: HubSpot system.
  • Proactive in the business engagements, building quality relationships and have good knowledge of the business finance to respond with the business proposition accordingly to each business client depending on their objectives and financial position

Business Development Manager’ Skills required

  • Experienced Business Development professional in a B2B sales and business development
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, able to foster and cultivate long lasting relationship with major clients and industry related companies
  • Previous experience in managing relations with large corporates and senior level company contacts
  • Good knowledge of business finance and understanding of the financial data
  • Can-do attitude to work, with the ability to multitask on several different projects and be passionate about the Fintech industry
  • Good knowledge of HubSpot system highly desired
  • Detailed understanding of Supply Chain Finance or similar previous Finance experience desired
