Our client is a B2B publishing and events company providing leading products for the Legal and Information Management markets. The product range includes magazines, research reports, conferences, seminars, newsletters and information products across both traditional and electronic media.

Based in London, our client also have offices in Chicago and Sydney.

Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executives for our Reports Sales division and our connect events division.

The role’s main responsibility is to ensure that all Report sales targets are met and for obtaining projects on our connect events and assisting your team to meeting overall sales team goals.
Key Objectives

•To ensure you achieve all individual sales targets and contribute to all team targets.

•To regularly generate new business through telesales and build where required sustainable relationships with clients

•To prepare thoroughly before selling a new product. This includes attending briefings, reading all relevant material, sourcing leads, sales planning and keeping the sales manager up to date with sales progress.

•To work effectively with all other departments and maintain a courteous and respectful attitude to all colleagues.

•To work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude to your job and contribute to a motivated environment.

•To regularly achieve and exceed the minimum expected call time of two hours daily.

Qualifications Required
The Candidate

Key Criteria

•At least 1 - 2 years experience of telephone based sales

•Excellent track record to date

You will be working as part of the sales team reporting to the Head of UK Sales.

Your main objectives will be to build and maintain key business relationships with both new and existing clients. The main focus of the role will be to sell to existing and new clients a range of events and reports.

The typical client you will be selling to include the most senior partners and directors of the top 200 UK law firms, and senior personnel from the private sector.Therefore a pre-requisite for this role are excellent communication skills and exemplary professionalism

Among your key personality traits are reliability, persistence, self-motivation and an ability to take instructions well.

Sales can be challenging and you need to be resilient and able to deal with rejection without taking it personally.
