The Core Team

Martin Smickler, Managing Director

With over 15 year’s experience, Martin established LinkPoint Resources to provide a superior service to our clients and candidates.

Martin’s focus is on providing our clients with high quality candidates that will enhance their teams, in particular he has a focus on the wider business context looking at goals and aspirations of business owners as well as the business itself so that the right fit can be achieved each time.

Martin also manages to find time to be the chairman of his local badminton club and plays the odd game or two. Martin is currently leading the company squash league.

Linda Bowyer, Director of Operations & Accounts

Linda assisted in setting up LinkPoint Resources, contributing to establishing our client base before taking overall control of accounts and operations.

Linda has worked in recruitment for the past 3 years having previously worked in the public sector for over 25 years.

Linda still finds time to pursue her love of cooking and discovering the history of old London.

George Flewitt, Head of Marketing & Sales

George heads our Marketing and Sales Team having joined LinkPoint Resources after working with a Top 20 accountancy firm and gaining experience across a broad range of sectors with a management consultancy firm.

George has a keen interest in climbing and sailing, he is also currently still unable to beat Martin at squash (possibly one of his greatest regrets in life).

Jon Primmer, Senior Account Manager

Jon heads our IT sector team and is a relatively new member of the management team. Jon has extensive multinational sector experience from working in retail, professional Services and IT industries.

When Jon is not working he is busy looking after his pride and joy (Playstation 3 Console). He also finds the time to play in the company squash league and enjoys beating George.

Scott Weston, Senior Account Manager

Scott heads our Building & Engineering sector team and is the newest member of our management team. Scott joined the LinkPoint team after gaining first hand experience in the engineering industry over a number of years.

Scott is a proud father of two but still manages to find time to sneak off to play golf. He has a rather impressive handicap. Scott is also in the company squash league but would rather not be.
